I don't understand how this place is so popular. After today's bad service and finding a hair in my shrimp cocktail I'm never coming back.

Can you say WoW!!! This restaurant is awesome!! I ordered 1/2 shrimp fajitas($18) and a michelada!!! BEST FAJITAS I HAD IN MY LIFE! it comes mixed with onions, green bell pepper, and potatoes! That right POTATOES! Omg who ever thought of adding potatoes to shrimp fajitas is genius! The meal also come with a big pieces of delicious garlic bread. This meal can be shared among two people. It's a huge portion. I would highly recommend this place! Also if you come on a rainy and overcast day, the place is empty! Otherwise it gets pretty packed!

I just had a great seafood plate with 3 micheladas. Not a big seafood fan however this is an exception. Great place to eat and bring family over.

when you need your seafood fix on a budget this is the spot. A pound of shrimp fajitas cooked with potatoes, bell peppers, and onions a large loaf of french bread is $28. Outdoor tables more picnic than restaurant.

  • Maria S.

We ordered shrimp fajitas and they were nasty. They add some different sauce for it that makes them nasty. I didn't even finish eating and it gave me a tummy ache. The place on the other side is much much better

  • Guera C.

Terrible sea food, dirty restaurant and extremely pricey. Would never recommend this place.

    (1)
  • Charles H.

I've been advised that you can order the fajitas with peeled shrimp for $2 more. Totally worth it if you have an income. I'm upgrading this place to a "maybe again."

Ok so I first came to this place over 10 years ago and thought it was crazy great pick out enormous lobster crabs etc and cooked the way you like it! Well 11 yrs later I went back today and again it did not disappoint. I ordered the 1/2 pound shrimp fajitas with garlic bread and coors light. WOW is all I could say as I was sopping up all the flavor with my bread. It's spicy but in a good way. The best in the markets!

  • Mic S.

Very good food, had the shrimp fajita with the garlic bread, i liked the garlic bread more than the shrimps hahaha if you wanna eat here, get ready to get ur hands dirty. Also tried this beer cocktail? with tomato juice and chili powder all around the cup. I cant say its good, but maybe thats just me I dont know what the name of the drink was called

  • Maethoriel A.

The shrimp fajita tray is so good!!!! There are a couple places in this food area but we liked it here so much we never tried the other places. It has shrimp potatoes onions and green onions all cooked in some kind of garlic and tomato sauce. The tray includes 2 pieces of garlic bread. We always order an extra one. And we always have leftovers. They usually get really busy around lunch time, the dock workers come here a lot. They also have fresh fish that they will prepare for you. As well as live lobsters.

    (5)
  • Vickie C.

First off I want to say that the food here is delicious. The shrimp fajita tray makes me want to drive to CA from LV. I have been coming here for a few years and it has never disappointed me. Huge portions, fresh seafood, enormous flavors. Ok so it isn't the cleanest place nor do they have spectacular service. If you are looking for a place with those expectations do not come here. If you want some great fresh caught seafood and you don't care if the shrimp is cleaned then try it out. This pier gets packed on the weekend, so be prepared for tons of people. I have tried the shrimp trays a couple of these places on this pier.

  • Stephany S.

Very very good! The grilled fish was perfect, along side the shrimp crevice. It all tasted fresh, healthy, and affordable.

    (4)
  • Jose G.

It's not all that. Chowder was weak. Shrimp was too sweet. And the crowds were not worth it.

    (1)
  • George G.

Just got done eatn some bomb seafood. Very delicious but the line n people are rediculous, u gotta hustle in their or else u wont get nowhere. I would recommend this for anyone who is a seafood lover. The shrimp is bomb and the oysters are huuuge.

    (4)
  • Nicolas J.

This place was delicious and cheap. The small shrimp fajitas fed three of us and we had leftovers. The only bad part was that it was too crowded. i spent around 25 bucks.

    (4)
  • Kim D.

I give the 4 stars for the garlic bread alone. I can't wait to go back and taste their other stuff. This place gets packed!!!! Bring wet wipes. :P Don't be afraid to use your hands.

  • Brittney H.

I've been coming to pan pacific for years with my family. Although always busy the wait to order and then to actually get your food it pretty quick. We come for the shrimp fajitas specifically. Pan pacific's have the best flavor by far out of all the other restaurants here. We always ask for extra sauce and an extra order of garlic bread. Prices are pretty inexpensive!! Def. must try spot!!!!!

    (5)
  • Seda K.

It is crazy busy here all the time but the food is really good. Do not expect customer service it is not that type of place but expect great food.

When visiting port of call San Pedro fish market go see the guys at Pan Pacific the food is great be prepared to look for some tables it may take a few times to get used to the routine but the food is definitely worth it

Ordered Tempura Oysters plate, shrimp and scallops plate.... we bought some roasted chicken and BBQ ribs from another place... we enjoyed everything....

Yummy shrimp and garlic bread! The large one can feed 3-4 people. Outdoor patio seating.

I do not understand how people can simply put "it gets busy" because that is most definitely an understatement. Busy could be used to describe a long line waiting for a burrito at Chipotle. This place was INSANELY PACKED AND OVERCROWDED. I am sure I can't be the only one who was overwhelmed by so many people. Let me start with the restaurant itself...kinda dirty and very hot, but it is sort of located outside so I can understand why. They had some tanks full of lobsters so one can view while waiting. However, the line was like a Disney land ride, please believe me I am NOT exaggerating. It was soooooo crowed if you're prone to panic attacks and claustrophobia, this is not your place. I went on a Sunday (lunch time) to try this place out and I was so hyped because of the reviews. I don't understand how people fail to mention it's so crowded it's almost off-putting and contributes to loss of appetite. The food was good. Not amazing, not bad, just good. I got the shrimp fajitas and the mojarra frita which was good, and the reason why I even bothered to rate this place. HOWEVER, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IT GETS CRAZY PACKED!!! I asked the lady working at PP if there was like a festival or event going on that could be the reason for all the people and her answer was "no, it's just sunday. It gets busy on the weekends, especially during summer." I'm sorry but people need to stop saying "busy" because the wait for food was so long (an hour and 15 mins) plus if you're lucky enough to find a seat, your food is most likely cold. The wait is not like another restaurant where you can put your name down and enjoy a cocktail at the bar and wait for your name to be called or leave, run some errands and come back. You literally are standing in line....for more than an hour. ONE OF THE MOST AWFUL DINING EXPERIENCES I EVER HAD!! Eating should be an enjoyable experience but I was too stressed to even enjoy my meal. Last time I ever come here!

So the hubby and I decided to try this place on a whim because he works in palos verdes and it's close by. I went at about 6 pm on a Saturday and the place was swarming with people. It's kind of a hot mess when ordering. We got the shrimp fajita with extra garlic bread, corn, and fresh oysters. Shrimp fajitas - overpriced and overhyped, tasted like Tabasco sauce was poured all over it, over cooked potatoes Garlic bread - hubby really liked it but eh I've had better garlic bread. It was a sad sad bread Corn - worst corn I've ever had, only plus was the butter dipping sauce it came with Fresh oysters - only ate 2, did not like the flavor, too "milky and oceany' . The hubby says it tastes like 'supermarket oysters' whatever that means. He only ate 1. Overall thoughts - would give it a second chance and try the fish fry. I expected more for the price though. Also waited 30 minutes for my food. :/

I've been here three times and they never disappoint me with the quality of seafood that they serve and cook. It was a mad house on Memorial Day so I will not take that against them. The only suggestion maybe if the owner will read this is to have more systematic or more organized way on placing orders and the pick up area should be separated or farther away from the order line. This creates a chaos and nobody knows if the line is for ordering or picking up even though there's a sign for it. The shrimp fajitas is always good, although there's too much potatoes in it. The grilled snapper was the bomb! Grilled to perfection. The crabs were steamed properly and was so good and there's a lot of meat in it (maybe it was a full moon when they caught them), it's a myth. We had a good time and will be back again.

    (4)
  • Jay J.

Food is fresh but kinda over priced for what it is; lines are long ; seating sucks and a lack of flavor

    (3)
  • Teresa B.

Come early on the weekends... Total mad house...any who after waiting half an hour to find parking, came to Pan Pacific. Waited 30 minutes in line to order and 45 minutes for the food to be ready. Shrimp fajitas are ok, comes with yummy garlic bread. The fish was red snapper and it was grilled... That was good too. We also ordered the oysters, and they we not appetizing at all! They were not prepared properly... Which was sad because we were looking forward to them... I brought the fiancé here for the first time so he can experience Ports O Call, but I doubt we will return. The two stars is for the beer we ordered while waiting in line....

  • Jennifer L.

Worst idea to come on Memorial weekend! It was insanely crowded and busy. Ordered clam chowder, garlic bread, and campechana to go and it took probably 30-40 minutes for the order. Seems everyone comes to order the huge fish platters or shrimp fajitas with massive amounts of bread. I was hoping to find thick clam chowder but alas this was watery with few clams. The campechana was okay--it got kind of boring after awhile. Everything was just okay and the price was $22. Maybe the shrimp fajitas are better? I would consider coming back during a weekday when its less busy.

Yummy! Came here on our way home from Santa Barbara. I had never had this before... and boy was it delicious! We had the 1/2 lb. shrimp fajitas with the grilled bread! Mmmm...

    (4)
  • Amber B.

Give the food a five star rating !!! Shrimp is so fresh quality of food is the best. Only thing I would change would be to have better customer service , when asking if they can peel our shrimp she said yes but didn't say there would be charge. also they didn't suggest that they have different sauces so only had the original sauce

    (5)
  • Cristina E.

First time at this place and the fajitas are bommmmmm! There garlic bread just adds to the delicious flavor. You get alot of shrimp and dont have to be digging for them There micheladas are very good also. Only reason why i dont give it a 5 star is because the guy charging us got upset when i asked him for the michelada with more tomatoe juice in it. Whats wrong with that?

*Note: If you have never been here, it should be noted that this is NOT a sit-down restaurant. As my sister says, it is more like a "seafood-themed food court". Across from Pan-Pacific Restaurant is Alaska Seafood & Sushi, which looks nearly identical but probably helps to funnel at least a portion of the crowd, since this place is packed. The line moved slowly, so we had all the time in the world to decide what we wanted to order. Looking around at the other tables, the Shrimp Fajitas (cooked with bell peppers, onions, potatoes, and tomatoes in a red sauce and served with garlic bread) was a clear crowd favorite. Since we had a large party, we decided to sample a variety of items and ordered Shrimp Fajitas, Shrimp Tempura (not really tempura, essentially shrimp that is battered and fried), Ceviche, Sopa de 7 Mares, & Mexican Rice. **Note #2: The space has a weird set up, because the pick-up area is in between the ordering area and the cash register, so you have to walk around and pay, then walk back to pick up your order. My mom was very confused by this. Once the food arrived, we dug in and everything was delicious! After experimenting, I found that the Shrimp Tempura went well with Tapatio hot sauce, and the potatoes in the Shrimp Fajitas (which I sprinkled with lemon juice) really helped balance out the rich flavors of the actual shrimp. Those were definitely my favorites. Other things we ordered: the soup (Sopa de 7 Mares) was excellent but very rich (so be prepared). Ceviche was decent. Mexican Rice was...rice. I ate pretty much everything with my hands and it got messy, so I wouldn't recommend coming here on a first date in your super-cute outfit. But the messiness is part of the fun experience! It was a good, delicious time, and I'm definitely glad we stopped here for dinner.

OMG...We went on a whale watch cruise and ate here upon our return. We had the medium size shrimp fahitas...29.99 It was a lot of food and very very spicy but ohhhhh so good. It had tons of shrimp, potatoes, onions, bell peppers and this fantastic sauce. It is served on a big serving tray..its messy because you have to peel the shrimp but it was very very good. It was sooooo busy but soooo worth the wait. The garlic bread they serve with the meal could have been a bit crispier however. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience even though it was just packed and loud. . I saw other people with these huge and I mean huge lobsters that looked so yummy also. They prepare fresh caught fish for you also...you pick the fish, they cook it.. you pay according to the pound. I would definitley come here again. P.S Parking is rough due to the location and crowds.. it took my fiancé 1/2 hour to get a spot... but don't let that deter you...This entire area, the shops etc is a must do if you are visiting !! I look forward to going again.

For lunch.... The food at this spot was just OK. The outdoor seating was bearable. Thank goodness I didn't need to go to the restroom. The entire town is run by the Hispanic community. I thought the valley had a lot of Hispanics! Nothing wrong with that....Just sayin'. Anyway. Then we went whale watching and for dinner we were suggested to try the San Pedro Fish Market, which is in the same center, but further down. This one sucked. I had to pick the fish, then take the few different fish and have 2 different places cook them, and they added other crap to my order. I don't speak Spanish, but he agreed and confirmed he understood me. But no luck. He ruined $90 worth of fish! (I will leave a review soon).

On a Saturday afternoon this was the only spot we could find a table available. We had the shrimp tray& I must say the garlic bread was my favorite part. It was nicely toasted. The shrimp tasted too much like tomato and had very little seasoning to my liking but it was tasty.

    (3)
  • Edwin L.

This has got to be the best restaurant at port O. Defintely has the best shrimp fajitas!! And the tilapia is fried to perfection :))

Never lets me down! My previous review sums it up pretty well. Shrimp fajitas, tempura shrimp & fish!!!!!!!!!!

  • Remie M.

Make sure u come here early!!! it gets pretty crowded on weekends. We ordered fresh oysters, lobster and shrimp and chips. It was tasty, but I had better. Ppl were rude and don't speak that much English here. Parking is an open lot. This place isn't how it used to be when I was younger. I think for me driving an hour and so just for seafood isn't worth it, I rather go 2 boiling crab and wait.

    (2)
  • Nando R.

Great food But the lines are CRAZY. I recommend visiting during the week or in the Late afternoon on weekends. The place is showing significant wear. Owners are not maintaining properly.

  • Karen M.

I really enjoyed coming here for the first time. It is a completely different crowd then what I am use to but hey I love to explore. The food is not that expensive and the beer isn't either. It was extremely crowded when I went. But they still were able to manage to give me my food pretty quickly. Oh and yeah.. DONT GO DURING THE WEEKEND!!

Wow delicious seafood! I came here Saturday night after visiting White Point. There are quite a bit of restaurants but my date chose this, so I said why not. This is not a typical restaurant atmosphere but it didn't matter. We ended up ordering 1lb of the Shrimp Fajitas ($28), a plate of 6 oysters ($10) & extra garlic bread. The food was a little pricey, but understandable because it's a seafood district. The food was prepared rather quickly. I thought the food was amazing. The oysters were a good size and very fresh. The shrimp fajitas had a little kick to them and served with bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and potatoes. We should of ordered the 1/2 pound because there was a lot of left overs. Well definitely be back!

When I arrived, I knew something was fishy... literally! Fish and other seafood permeate so thickly in the air you better be sure that you like dining with the marine life here. The shrimp fajita plate was delicious! Just thinking about it makes me salivate right now... I can't quite describe what's in the orange/reddish sauce... maybe I don't want to know.. hehe. The ingredients (SHRIMPS, bell peppers, onions, potatoes) were ordinary fajita veges until they were soaked in the magical sauce of hotness and tangie-ness. The 1/2lb or even the 1lb is prefect for sharing. The sopa de 7 mares came with a kick! At one point, I was accidentally laughing and inhaling the soup. The spiciness got stuck in the back of my throat and I thought I was going to breathe my last... The spicy soup was abundant with plenty of shrimps, fish, and other seafood. One of the reviewers mentioned it's like the Korean mae-oon tang. I guess it make sense since I noticed the owner is Korean. The 6 raw oysters were... tiny to say the least... not worth the price. Several times the Mariachi band came by to ask if we want some music accompaniment. Unfortunately, we were really into our conversations and it was actually annoying how often they came by to ask. One of my friends even jumped when one of the Mariachi member came from behind to seek our attention. Neverthe less, I enjoyed the atmosphere that they brought. It really added to the flavor of the whole experience!

The snapper is excellent. Do not get the combo plates. Order by the fish. Well worth the wait and price. But enough for the whole family.

If you want port o call then you must go to Pan Pacific. Everything here is mouth watering. Love this place. A little on the pricey side but worth it. The shrimp fajitas are the best!!!

Simply done food Ordered 1 Tilapia, mixed vegies & 2 sodas for $22. Picked the fish ourselves. Waited about 30 minutes and our number was called. Got 2 cafeteria trays covered with paper and our food. Sat outside at picnic tables and watched the boats go by. Liked the simplicity of the meal and the atmosphere was outstanding.

Came on a Sunday knowing it was going to be packed and BOYYY, it was! Parking is easy to find. Once you get there, you order right away--The girls taking orders were super rude and unfriendly--so make sure you know what you want already. The way the restaurant is set up is: you order, pick up food, and then pay, which is kind of confusing. So make sure to order, pay, and then give them your receipt to get your food. Come in a group because its alot of food! This is what I ordered: Shrimp fajitas: juicy, sweet, lots of veggies, and shrimp with no heads. $23 for one pound. $26 for 1.5 pounds. Fried calamarie: crunchy, and the squid inside is in big pieces (not what I prefer, but its good) $7.99 for half pound. Fried Fish: good, fresh, but no taste:/ I feel like they should season it. 4.99 per pound. Shrimp Tempura: looove it. crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside! $19 per pound i think? Clam Chowder: very watery. you can find better chowder somewhere else:) $3.50 per cup. While you order, make sure to have someone to fetch a table for you. And get all your utensils ready: plates, tapatio, ketchup, and lemon. Tip: ask for extra lemon so you can wash the smell off of your hands after you eat:) Reminder to myself: bring baby wipes to wipe down the area you're eating in! And finally, enjoy your meal along the San Pedro pier. Beautiful sunset.

This area of restaurants is famous for shrimp fajitas or at least to us. The fajitas are well made fresh veggies that still have a church and shrimp that is sweet and fresh tasting. We have waited 2 hours in line trust me I wouldn't do that if it wasn't legit!

    (4)
  • Eric M.

Have been coming here since I was a kid. I'm 28 now an always have great food. Customer service is not the greatest but what do you expect from a place that sells to several hundreds of guests per day. Fried fish "mojarra" is delicious alongside lemon, garlic bread and an ice cold beer!

  • Jean K.

If you're in the area and are looking for a quick and easy place to eat (and don't mind eating in an outdoor cafeteria-like setting), definitely try Pan-Pacific. The various deep-fried seafood & chips combos are always a safe choice. The shrimp fajitas (a pile of shrimp cooked in a spicy tomato sauce served with garlic bread) is a popular dish among many patrons. The "sopa de 7 mares" (mae-oon tang to us Koreans; a sort of spicy bouillabaisse) is superb. The ceviche isn't too bad either. In short, if you're a fan of seafood, you will have a great time here.

do not go there I repeat do not. We went on a Sunday no where to park .. No where to sit . They got our order wrong made us wait 40 min to give us the right order and when we got home we realized they charged us twice. This place is getto!!!! By the time u get ur food and find a place to sit its cold and u want to leave... Don't believe try it yourself and you will see.

Been coming to ports o call since I was a buck. I've been to Pan Pacific a few times. Food is good, view is nice, but its always severely crowded on weekend. Come early or maybe late. Tables can be scarce so be ready to trample over children to grab one.

Went here today and was amazed on what I have been missing out on. I always pass by this place in the mere hours of 4am when i'm on my way to the State Fish market just down the street. If you haven't seen or heard about that place, that is a must if you are hardcore about cooking seafood at the house, make sure to check out my review on that market on my page. Alrighty, I arrived here today (on a Sunday) at around 4pm. This place was poppin, crowds of folks were all around grubbin' on fine seafood. There were like 10 places to choose from, and this was the one I chose because this was the first place the wifey and I laid eyes on. We ordered the 1/2 lb shrimp fajita plate, fish and chips, and fried oysters. This was our first time here so didn't' realize the amount of food we had just ordered. =) We spent around 40 for this order. The only reason i'm giving this place 4 stars is because the shrimp was headless. I'm a hardcore seafood lover, and that's where most of the flavor comes from - from the brains. Anyway, overall the food was delish'! They even threw in some coleslaw and a bowl of clam chowder, I think you get that with the shrimp platter, not too sure. The fried oysters were on point, they were pretty big too, I didn't see that coming, that in itself was a full meal. The fish and chips, uhhhh they were so-so, it seems that my order sat in the fryer just a little too long, the batter was pretty tough, it almost looked like fried bananas when it reached our table. The fries were your everyday frozen shoe strings. I really wanted to try the fried Talapia, maybe i'll have to try that next round.

BEST SHRIMP FAJITA (WITH GREEN MUSSELS) AND GRILLED TILAPIA ever!!! Nothing compares to Pan Pacific vs. the surrounding restaurants around it -- including the San Pedro Fish & Market -- Pan Pacific is the bomb. If we are in a rush --- We call-in our orders, either for take-out or to-go --- give them 30 minutes --- when you get there -- all's ready --- either ready to jump back in the car to feed the monsters waiting at home --- or ready to chomp those seafood --- once you find a table though, that is --- They have the freshest crab, too --- sweet meat --- nom - nom - nom ---

Wonderful Sunday Seafood Lunch with Mariachi music on the side!!! Super extra large plates of Raw Oysters (8 pcs. - extra large and juicy oysters!!), unlimited access to Tapatio and a whole lemon on the side! With some Peach Snapple! I loved my plate. However, boyfriend was disappointed that his shrimp skewers plate was mostly vegetables with like 3 pieces of shrimp! But his Spanish Rice and Salsa was BOMB! My Bf's parents fish and chips plate were super loaded with french fries and fish! Lobster and Crabs looked super sized here too, and cheviche will try next time!!

Ordered the 1/2 lb shrimp fajitas since it was raved about. Wasn't impressed. Garlic bread was plain, definitely something you can fix up yourself at home. Michelada looked good. Down size for it was the price of $15, again you could do that at home. Wouldn't come back for the fajitas or ambiance. I'd rather go to boiling crab, honestly.

  • Day-Trader ..

We'll I had a friend rave about this place but I was expecting grilled fish on open BBQ and all but that's not what I got. The location is great after eating take a nice stroll along the water. Only fish selection they had was talapia. I wanted like halibut or some other fish. So that was disappointing. I also had the fried shrimp, they were pretty good but very greasy. My friends ordered the shrimp fajita and fried oysters. I tried the fajita and it was ok. I don't like oysters so I did not try it but my friend did not like it. The talapia was $4.99 a pound and then cooked fried or grilled. Its done on a flat top grill not a open flame grill which I was hoping for. The food was okay, it wasn't cheap. Plate of shrimp and a whole talapia (few pounds) was $30.00 It wasn't bad but not great. The menu is limited its basically fried or grilled on a stove top. Shrimp or talapia. They have live crabs and lobster but its not cheap.

My favorite seafood restaurant! I honestly prefer this over boiling crab because the wait time isn't rediculous & it's not infested with so many annoying young loud "aZns". There is also ample amount of parking (but good luck during the weekends, it gets SUPER crowded) It is also quite pricey so beware & make sure you come with a thick wallet! I always get their shrimp fajitas with extra garlic bread and fried or fresh oysters...it never fails, always fresh & delish! The only con about this place is it gets super packed on the weekends so finding a spot to eat may be difficult but definitely definitely worth it! Happy Eating! -Gen

Amazing place! I'm sure everything has already been said. Except I would ignore any reviews under 3 stars. I'll explain more below. Food: This is a place to come to with a large group. Get the fajitas combo with extra sauce on top and on the side to dip the bread. Oh get an extra pound of shrimp, potatoes and the grilled fish. The largest one is about $31 when I was last there. That easily feeds 4-6 people. If you get the fish it will be more than enough. Ambiance and Expectations: This kind of place is mostly for locals and not for the chic, white collar crowd. Maybe my rating is biased because I grew up coming to this place. There's hundreds of people (middle to lower class families) who come here on Saturdays and Sundays afternoons so they must be doing something right. Caveat: MOST,*** not ALL, of the people that come here are not your YELP type (don't review or check-in) or posh by any means. I don't mean this in a bad way, but I think this helps explain the lack of reviews and the negative reviews. ***: MOST means over 51%. Whereas SOME is under 49% and All is obviously 99.9%. --- Sorry for the logic lesson.

I don't even know if I have the words to explain how freaking AMAZING this place is! Their shrimp fajitas is just to die for. When you come on busy days it literally feels like you are in Mexico- there's people EVERYWHERE and it's hard to find a place to sit but once you finally do and get your tray and sit down to eat... every second becomes worth it. The Port of LA is like its only little country away from the rest of the world, simply amazing.

Large quantity of shitty garlic bread totally makes up for the mountains of people and the over priced shrimp.

When I use to live in San Pedro, I would always here people talk about Ports o'call being absolutely fabulous for their shrimp fajita. And I have had it on more than a few occasion but for me I prefer pan pacific. For $17 you get 1/2 pound of shrimp with vegetables and 2 slices of garlic bread. The line at pan pacific is always a lot shorter than the opposite side of the pier and it's usually not as crowded. I just love it! Shrimp, onions, green peppers, tomatoes and potatoes in a very flavorful redish orange sauce. I can't pin point the flavors in it, but trust me, it's good! With a fresh lemon squeezed all over it, yum yum yum! They do have dungeness crab for $14.99 a pound and lobster for $18.99 a pound. $10 pitcher of bud light (they do make you leave a deposit of $5, I guess to ensure you will return it). They often have mariachi's singing out on the patio, I'm not sure how much they charge per song, but it's nice to have live music. Tip: crab and lobster is cooked for free! they also have fresh fish that you can choose from and they will fry and cook for free as well.

I love this place! My hubby and I eat here all the time. The Shrimp Fajitas are awesome!!!! Sometimes we also order a grilled tilapia when we are really hungry. My Hubby loves the 7 Mares soup. It's always packed on weekends, but it don't matter, we don't mind waiting for a table. We usually get one within 10 minutes. It's nice on a warm sunny day, so you can enjoy warm breeze and watch the cruise ships go by. We haven't tried any of the Restraunts next to it because we love this place but maybe someday. Sometimes there's a mariachi if you want some music entertainment.

back again for MORE, but this time on memorial day weekend, meaning during the most craziest days to go. usually this area is a sleeply town, and there were seriously only a handful of people that we saw the last time we visited, and this area is huge. THIS time was way different. the gigantic parking lot was full, the spacious decks were full of people, and there were open grills, bars, churros stands, fresh oyster stands, you name it- they were all there & poppin! pan-pacific restaurant was SUPER packed as well. chaotic, so many people waiting in line, still looking at the menu, waiting for the food, assembling their sauces, walking through, e.t.c. e.t.c. it was insane. despite all that, people working there were very organized, very attentive, food was fresh, delicious, and affordable. there was outside round bench tables that were clean and maintained so it was really easy to find a spot. the 2.5LB crab that we got to pick while it was alive was amazing. sweet and had lots of meat. they loan you those shell cracking utensils, by giving them $3, but they give it back to you when you bring it back to them.

I visited on Sunday. we did not know where to go. It was very chaotic. I asked a security guard where to go for the shrimp platters and he directed us to the raw foods counter. I looked around n found out where we needed to go but the prices listed were different from what was posted online on their own website. The shrimp platters were posted online to cost $35 for unpealed and $40 for pealed both including garlic bread. The shrimp platters were posted at $40 when we got there not including the bread. With the false advertisement, incompetent staff and ridiculously high prices - I will not be returning. Also I posted a review to their facebook page and it was not posted and Ireceivedno response. I shared a picture from their page n got interest, but I can not and will not recommend this place

Why didn't anyone post pics of their Sushi?.........Thats because there is no sushi here. The sign is incorrect. They basically sell the same style food at all the spots in Ports O'call. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool, fun place to eat. The food is OK, and the beer selection limited and served into a plastic cup. The prices are twice as much per pound than the local restaraunts. Do not eat the Oysters from here, they are gray and fizzle.

My number one spot when I come to San Pedro, the service is fast and their shrimp fajitas are amazingly good, it's potatoes with onion, green peper, sauce, and best of all shrimp!!

This is always my go-to spot for lobster in the Ports-O-Call, the food's ready pretty quick if you're there before the mass crowds show up, and I've never really had problems finding a place to sit down. They had a deal recently for a 1 1/2 lb. lobster plate for $36 and it was just right for me and my girlfriend.

Sorry to be a downer on all the glowing reviews here, but I was quite disappointed. The place is dirty first of all. It has school cafeteria style tables with plastic table tops that weren't regularly wiped off. I ordered 3 items that were most talked about in the prior reviews. 6 large oysters ($8.99): excellent deal, but these were monstrosities. You had to take several bites of these steak-like specimens to eat them. I don't want to eat oysters with a knife and fork. Sopa de 7 mares soup ($12.99): the broth was seriously lacking flavor and the seafood was way overcooked. Rubbery baby octopi, calamari, and mussels. The crab was all mushy. We left this practically untouched. I even looked around for a homeless person to give it to. 1/2 lb. shrimp fajitas ($16.99): we liked this the best, but I wasn't blown away. I wish they peeled the shrimp because it's pretty messy eating. It was served with a mildly spicy tomato sauce with red bell peppers, onions, potatoes and onions with a long piece of garlic bread. It was good, just not "crack" good as suggested. They do have some huge live lobsters and dungeness crab for steaming. Almost all the patrons there were ordering the fried whole fish (I think it was Tilapia) with fries. I was not impressed.

oh god! haven't came here in almost a year, but it still hits that perfect spot in my tummy. Came here with my sisters and I seriously went from 6 to midnight after the first bite. Still as good as i remember it. The extra star because there was a battle of the bands and the outside eating area was rocking out! They need to make a show like ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew) and name it ABMC (America's Best Mariachi Crew)...oh shiiiieettt...I need to hit up Univision.

If your looking for a place to eat very good fresh seafood at a cheap price this would be the place. As my first time here with family n friends it was a great experience. No lines, no crowd. I will return soon.

Tons of people and chaos, order to the far right, pay at the far left and pick up in the middle. We had the shrimp fajitas that had cut up potatoes and onions which had good sauce, except we have NEVER worked so hard for our food, we had to peel the 1/2 pound of shrimp. The garlic bread was good and large and we had tall cans of Tecate. Our experience would have been better if the whole place was cleaner. The condiment area was full of chili and empty and filthy, my Coach purse is full of chili on one side. We sat outside and the benches were grimy and the place didn't smell so good but what can I expect for a seafood place. My bf wants to go back, guess I will have to go with a clothespin on my nose and not take my Coach purses. We will also order breaded seafood next time. They do accept credit cards.

What a find this place is! A MUCH better deal than redondo, and crabs that were just as good if not better! Oysters the size of my hand, grilled to perfection - you can also get it raw or fried! The 4.5lb lobster was also delicious and not too salty, and the crab was huge with succulent meat. Everything was fresh fresh fresh! I liked the outdoor seating next to the water, where there is always a nice breeze.

my mouth is salivating just thinking about pan pacific. i have never been let down by their food. SHRIMP FAJITAS - its awesome! i swear, they have crack in them. it has so much flavor. the shrimps are juicy and flavorful.... not too salty, with just the right amount of deliciousness. huge pieces of garlic bread comes with it. the bread is perfectly crisp and buttery on the top while the bottom soaks up the yummy sauce from the shrimp fajita. FRIED AND GRILLED OYSTERS - OK, i HATE oysters but i gave it a shot. the guy who took my order (who was REALLY nice) recommended it for our big party. i'll admit it. the oysters were good for them being oysters. everyone LOVED it. CRAB - the crab was HUGE, juicy and meaty. no complaints here!!!! ooooohh, and the 7 mares soup, it was like a cioppino with mexican spices. it also reminded me of a korean seafood soup dish. it was perfect with the rest of the seafood. the service was awesome. all the employees were really helpful and cheerful. its refreshing to see employees smiling. there is ample parking and you don't have to pay for parking like you have to do when you go to redondo beach to eat crab. can you tell im in love with pan pacific?

Omg, I love this place, no complains. Their shrimp fajitas are delicious, I always order peeled shrimp, it's a couple of $$ more but worth it. The garlic bread is good too, oh and let's not forget the tilapia on the grill (yummy). I am a very satisfied customer, yeah it can get crowded but it doesn't bother me.

I am glad that we picked this restaurant out of many other choices at Ports O'call Village. It's clean and it has its own restrooms and own indoor & outdoor dining area. The owner is Korean who can speak Spanish. The food style is close to Mexican and Asian. More spicy side. The seafood soup (#9 Sope 7 Mares) is great. I will go there again.

We will drive here just for the shrimp fajitas... and to trespass at Sunken City. And because of the shrimp fajitas alone, it gets its stars. Be prepared to get grimy and eat with your hands. Order extra garlic bread. The spot is right on the harbor in Ports O' Call village, so you know it's fresh, but also with that there are alot of other fresh fishy smells. Scene is casual - lots of outdoor seating, fiberglass picnic tables, guitar playing - even down right dirty. But I like it like that.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have been going here with my parents ever since I was a little girl. The shrimp fajitas are to die for! The sauce that they cook the shrimp in is so delicious! If you are there, make sure to try to deep fried oysters. Your mouth will thank you. Decent prices for really fresh seafood. The only negative is that this place gets really crowded on the weekends and holidays. If you get a chance to come here during the weekdays, I highly recommend it! A++++

Back in the days, 10 years ago when my parents first found this store by chance, we would come here regularly for the shrimp fajitas with the garlic bread soaked in the sauce... yummy! Then I went back here with my bf a few months back and holy molly, it was packed with ppl like sardines! It took an hour to place the order, and another hour to get the food in total chaos. Finding a seat was a struggle on its own and besides having to share the table with another party that decided to seat with us without even asking (we didn't mind, though), there were two mariachi bands singing and going around the outdoor tables non-stop putting the final touch to the total chaos. So needless to say when my parents told us we were going here today, I wasn't very thrilled. To my surprise though, today was so calm, the complete opposite of my other experience. We didn't have to wait for a single person in line, found an indoor table for 8 ppl right away, the food came out quickly, and the one thing that is always constant, the shrimp fajitas were oh-so-good. I ate so many shrimps that my cholesterol will be shooting off the roof, but it was worth every bite!
